Asking for Self, Female, 16 years old, rawalpindi
previously, i posted my question about this and a dermatologist had replied to me but i couldn't reply or comment back, tried a lot of times. issue with website. so is it ok if im replying here. also i think its fungal acne because i've seen a lot of videos on it and if you search on google images, fungal acne. The same exact results are similar to what i have. These bumps have been sitting on my forehead for a while. haven't been to the derma yet, i had to but then this virus happened. usually people use nizoral shampoo on their forehead to get rid of this, but we dont have it here. any creams you would recommend? benzyol peroxide etc etc. shouldi be using 2% nizoral ketaconozole on my forehead to get rid of these bumps? also, below is a picture i found on the web which is exactly similar to mine .I really need help on this, would you suggest any skincare products i should use to get rid of this?
Need to look at it for thorough diagnosis and planed treatment. please book an appointment Thanks
Actually I don't know what fungal acne is. I don't recall studying about it while doing my post graduation in London. Maybe it's a new thing. Other Dermatologist might be able to shed light on this.
What I see on the pictures is that you have grade 0 acne with comedones.
For comedones, sometimes they get dislodged with gentle facial scrubs but since they are deeply impacted therefore they just remain stuck there. In that case I treat them with RF device and they disappear within no time.
Regarding the acne you have, it will need medicines the apply.
