Talk to Dermatologist on Fungal Infection

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 30 years old, Karachi

I have been suffering from a fungal infection for the past two years. I have tried almost every medication and treatment prescribed by different doctors, but the infection keeps coming back, especially during the summer months. The itching remains persistent throughout the year and significantly affects my daily life. Even when the symptoms improve with treatment, they return after some time. I make sure to maintain proper hygiene and follow the treatment instructions, but the problem still recurs. I would appreciate your advice on what could be causing this and what further tests or treatment options I should consider.

I have used multiple antifungal including Fluderm, Rolac, Lamisil.. For external use Travocort, Terbiderm, Dermasporin, and Sertazol. Each medication was used for approximately two months, after which it was changed to a different treatment. In total, I have used about three different medications.
Currently i am using Terbiderm forte ( antibiotic) and canesten as an external use.
