Talk to Dermatologist on Fungus In Nails
Asking For Someone else, Mother, Female, 60 Years old, karachi
Fungus in hand and feet nails (thumbs in feet and one finger in hand) Pls guide what can be the reasons? And how to cure? She is taking care of them by cleaning and having medicated pedicure but it’s not recovering. Pls suggest doctor if required to see also. Pictures attached

The reason for fungal infection in nails are the hands and feet are constantly being damp or wet. She cannot work on the kitchen nor can she can do any sort of washing.
Proper anti-fungal medication for prescribed duration of carried out for it's elimination.
I am traveling these days but will be back in my clinic on 20 Aug. So if you wish you can take an appointment so that I am able to examine her ailment closely and prescribe appropriate treatment.
