Hello Doctor,

I am a 21-year-old male and about 7 weeks ago I developed bumps on my penis after shaving my genital area. Initially a small black pimple appeared, then pustules with yellowish discharge developed. I used mupirocin 2% ointment 3 times daily and hydrocortisone 1% once daily for about 8–10 days, which improved the swelling, discharge, and size of the bumps, but I stopped the treatment around 3 weeks ago before fully recovering. Currently, I have red bumps on the glans and skin-colored bumps on the shaft (center, not near hair follicles), some dry/white crust, swelling on glans and shaft, and mild pain only when rubbing against clothes, with some discomfort while urinating possibly due to swelling. There is no discharge now. I am circumcised and have had no sexual activity. I have no fever. I would like guidance on how to fully heal these residual bumps and inflammation, whether I need to restart topical antibiotics or consider oral antibiotics, and how to prevent recurre
