Talk to Dermatologist on Head Scalp
Asking for Self, Male, 27 years old, Quetta
I found white spot on my head. Its little up from skin level. I feel like itching/scratching it but not very often. It looks like white paint has been dropped here. Because there is clear difference between this specific spot and other skin color. I dont know what it is and how i can get rid of it? Can you please diagnose what it is and and how it came ? And any precautionary measures or therapy to resolve it?

Maybe from one month. I was scratching it, but I didn't what I am scratching. Yesterday when I was getting haircut, then I came to know about this. One month ago when I got haircut, I think it wasn't there.

start taking antiallergic .and ketoconazole shampoo .if didn't resolve plz book a consultation.

It could be an eczema or vitiligo. Unless a Dermatologist see your scalp in person, it's diagnosis and treatment is difficult.
Please consult a Dermatologist in your area. If not possible, please visit my clinic at Karachi for it's treatment.

Thanks for sharing ur concern. Can u tell more about it. Similar rash anywhere else on the body ? like on face , elbows, lower back, knees, shins or hands and feet. Dandruff or itchiness in eyes ? Any changes in ur nails like small pitting or bad looking nails? Any pain in ur joints ? Any family history of psoriasis, eczema ?

Dr. Rabia thank you for your response. No I do not have similar rash anywhere else in the body, neither I have itchiness in eyes, nor nails changed. I just found this spot on head and I am having itching on head, but I am controlling it. Today I applied mixture of yogurt and olive oil paste on my head and washed it off after 30 mins.
Secondly my father has something similar to eczema on his leg, foot from his young age. I don't know the exact name of that disease but it's similar to eczema.

Okay, As there can be a number of causes for rashes and the picture doesn’t show it very clearly, i would like to have a look at it. I am just concerned if it’s psoriasis then an appropriate treatment would be required.
