Itching In The Head And Neck Area

Question

AoA .. My fathers age is 52 years ... 3 weeks before he was diagnosed with granular pharayngitis .. for which he took medication ... from about 1 month he is having the issue of extreme itchiness in the head and neck .. of he takes  1 tablet of omcet then he is good to go for 2-3 days .. 
Currently he is taking nexium before food ... 
What should be done about the itchiness .. he is not using any hair colour

Any dandruff? Which soap n shampoo is he using. Only itching ir any scaling is associated with it too? There are few dermatologist practicing in islamabad. I think ur father needs detailed examination n then can be treated properly.
