Talk to Dermatologist on Itching On Spine
Asking for Other, Male, 3.5 years old, London
My son is having itching on this area I have shown in the pic. If I apply moisturizer itching goes away but comes back again. Is it normal itching? And does his spine looks normal? I have attached pics.
He started having itching about 1 month ago. I applied moisturiser and it went away but after almost 1 month it came back again.

He eats healthy and drinks milk too but still he is on skinny side. He is having these two prominent vertebrae which I have circles around. I was just getting concerned if this is normal or not.

His skin is dry and sensitive and that is why his back is itchy. The rash on the back is also due to dry skin.
Just keep his back or the entire body moisturized by applying creme E45 especially after the bath. At this time no active medication required.
