Asking for Self, Female, 27 years old, Karachi
Its been over a decade that I keep getting boil-like pimples on buttocks and in between them. I showed it to different dermatologists but nothing could help till I finally visited my GP for it and she asked me to stick to cotton undies. It has helped but I still keep getting boils on and off. Currently, I have around 10 of these on hips, between hips, tye back of thighs, and inner thighs. These mostly reoccur on the same get so big and painful that I can't resist using topical and oral antibiotics often. Attaching some pics here.
1. What is this issue? And what do I do to prevent these boils? I am so fed up as they don't let me walk or sit properly and now I have 2mo who I am breastfeeding.
2. Is there any way I can get rid of the scars on my hips (you can swe in the pic how bad the skin looks) which these boils have been leaving for over 10 years now? Please help
Dear pt, I hope you are well. It is important to see/examine the lesion for the best possible care. As there may be several treatment options and for that it is ideal to consult. So kindly book an appointment so can guide you what is best for you.
