Talk to Dermatologist on Lichen Planus Scalp
Asking for Self, Male, 23 years old, Islamabad
I was diagnosed with lichen planus 1.5 years ago , spread to my scalp and caused hair loss in patches but after it stopped spreading I noticed it left a huge area of my scalp pigmented with reddish black colour . Kindly suggest any treatment to remove these pigments on my scalp . I have tried clobetasol but no results yet
These are scar marks left by your skin disorder that you had. Scars remain untreatable.
I can try doing PRP treatment on your scalp because that treatment is known to treat scars as well.

pigmentation of LP is due to melanocyte incontinance into dermis which is in deeper skin layers and dont respond to ordinary treatment modalities. plz book appointment thru marham for evaluation
