Talk to Dermatologist on Nail-black Mark

I’ve suddenly noticed black marks on both the sides of my big tow nail it looks more like a dent I think. No pain or anything. What exactly is this and why? Last year too I remember getting a black spot on the right side (same place) initially I thought it was a black/brown spot then later on it looked like a slightly deep dent probably filled with dirt which made it look black which i did clean up and then some time later my nail developed beaus line at the nail bed which kept on coming forward and I finally got rid of those lines last month after cutting it. Pls tell me Is this serious ?
Beau's lines appear at the time when there is some kind of stress or body ailment going causes halting nail plate can recall if this sort of situation happened few weeks or a month back you can is not a serious issue if that ailment or stress has gone now.
