Im suffering from hyperpigmentation on cheeks and acne scars as well. Im a pco patient so without any doubt the underlying cause of these problems is hormonal imbalance. Im taking consultation from a gynaecologist alongwith a dietician. I am on healthy diet. I have been using sun block regularly for years. I have undergone 6 mesotherapy sessions, 1 microdermabrasion alongwith night creams , medicines etc but my pigmentation and scars hav stuck to my cheeks. Rather i got rosecea due to sanclear, glycolic acid and kojic acid suggested by doctors. I want a sincere advice from dermatologists. Should i stop wasting money on skin treatments?? I am really disappointed as i consulted big names but all in vain. Im still unmarried and unfortunately this pigmentation and scars are a big hurdle in getting married.

Treat your PCO with hormones. You need depigmenting cream, a sun block and some cosmetic procedure for your scars.
I can't justify other doctors way of treatment but must visit my clinic if u live in islamabad. Nothing is impossible now a days just be positive.
