Talk to Dermatologist on Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation After Injury
Asking for Self, Female, 22 years old, Karachi
I previously fell on the road and had a wound/scratch on the skin. After the wound healed, the affected area became darker and has a different color compared with the surrounding skin.
I would like to know if this is post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or a scar, and what ointment or treatment would be suitable to fade the mark safely.
