Talk to Dermatologist on Self Developed Skin Wound

The patient had a small black spot on her stomach from past 5 years which increased in size over time and now has turned into something like a wound and is causing alot of paon and itching. She is also complaining about appearance of light black patches on other parts of body now. A physician said her to immediately go for biopsy but due to corona she isn't able to get it done. Please let me know whether she should opt out for biopsy or she should consult a dermatologist
