Severe Dandruff And Scaly Skin

Question

Assalamualaikum. My nephew is 1.5 month old and have severe dandruff issue. He has a scaly skin on head. We do oiling daily but no results at all. Cam anyone guide what is the actual issue? He gets cranky due to this.

oiling is prohibited once u have such lesions. Oiling will only spread it. this is called cradle cap or Seborrhoeic dermatitis. it needs proper treatment but after examining the child .
