Talk to Dermatologist on Skin Allergy On Legs
Asking For Mother, Female 62, Sialkot
My mother is suffering from skin allergy on legs from about 30years. She has used many medicines from skin specialists. Blood tests are clear. The medicines give just short term relief from itching and dryness and these patches get lighter a bit. But there is no permanent she leaves the medicines after some months the problem becomes severe again. According to her she got this allergy from mosquito bite and she also has used so much birth control medicines at that time. she is diabetic too. And the allergy also gets severe when she uses any fry items or some beef. What is the permanent solution for this? kindly help i am so much worried.
Cannot comment on it without examining the patient but it could be or vasculitis. To my dismay your mom has been prescribed tablet methotrexate as well. It's dosage not mentioned and duration of the tablet too not mentioned. No blood tests done before prescribing those tablets and most importantly no tablet Folic acid prescribed.
Since she obviously cannot travel to Karachi, I would like you to consult a qualified Dermatologist in your area.

mam i couldn't find the reports. if important which blood tests should be done again?
and please prescribe some medicine and soap so she can complete this month of fasting. She has observed
more itching and dryness during soap which is already mentioned also has pricking effect to her.

What medication used fkr Diabetes?
Strt giving Softin 10mg (at night)
Sebo S soap for washing n bathing
Apply Scabion forte lotion (at night)
Next day took bath with prescribe Soap
After bathing apply Advantan cream all over affected area
