Talk to Dermatologist on Skin Issue
Asking for Self, Female, 23 years old, Bhakkr
My face is oily i used to get one or two they increased in quantity they disappear they leave their mark.....a doctor prescribed me macrobac(azithromycin) capsule nd a cream.....I m using these capsule for 2 months first month daily use month 1 day gap doc asked me to use this with 2 day gap...I just want to ask is it safe to use antibiotic for this long time?

No u should not use antibiotic now.... Stop this medication... U need proper face wash and a cream for this purpose... U can contact me through marham for proper treatment...

please avoid broiler chicken, fried food to reduce acne breakouts. do ask your docotr if it is safe for you to take this antibiotic as most acne medicines have to be taken for a prolonged time.
Please ask this question to the prescribing physician. He is the best person to guide you

no it us not safe. you may get gram negative folliculitis. when ever there is acne esp on face the aim of our treatment is to control it and treat it so that it doesnt leave any scar or marks. plz book appointment thru marham for proper treatment
