Skin Itching Issue

Aoa.. my mother is 66 diabetic patient.. for few days she is experiencing itching on her skin all over her body.. after some itching skin becomes red with temporary welts.. 
what could be the possible reason?
any recommendation for cure?

Your mother is diabetic. She needs to consult a Dermatologist in person. Hey itching may be associated with her diabetes or there may be something else.
In my opinion you should bring her over to my clinic so that I can examine her first. I am working during the Lockdown.
