person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 26 years old, Lahore, ferozpur Road

It started off like little bumps on the skin of fingers, as in not like pimples but little bumps on my skin after sometimes they dried out and started looking like dried skin and then that dry skin came off... It became a little ichy with very mild pinching pain... Now they look like skin removed in circular shape with redness inside, now its spreading all over the body hands, arms, legs... Kindly suggest me something.. Thanks

Looks like pompholyx. A type of eczema.

Pompholyx is a type of eczema which affects the hands and feet, causing tiny blisters and irritation. Eczema is a condition causing skin inflammation. Pompholyx is also known as DYSHIDROTIC ECZEMA or VESICULAR ECZEMA of the hands and feet.

some factors which might be involved in causing or triggering this condition. These are:

📌Metals such as nickel or cobalt (either on the skin, or in food).
📌Certain chemicals - for example, perfumes
📌Emotional stress.
📌Sweating
📌Fungal infection
📌Over washing of hands

Pompholyx may be aggravated by anything which is irritant to the skin, such as detergents, various solvent-type chemicals and water (if there is frequent or prolonged contact with water).

Moisturise skin. Use perfume free soap and lotion.
DERMACARE SOAP
Apply HYDROPHIL 10% LOTION on body/hands/feet right after washing.
Apply MELAS-H CREAM on affected area 2-3 times. (For max 7 days)
TAB FEXET 180mg one daily if itchy.

Eczema/ Dishydrotic eczema. Moisturise your hands right after washing. Use hand gloves to wash dishes .. detergents, dish wash liquids can cause irritation and in turn cause this repeatedly. Avoid using perfumed soaps and lotions.

If it gets worse then please see a dermatologist.
