Asking for Sister, Female, 27 years old, Peshawar

Kindly approve the post. Can a patient with autoimmune disease like psoriaisis have covid vaccination? She has had the condition since 6 years of age. The condition is pretty much under control now, uses topical steroids when aggravates. Will the vaccine have any effect on the psoriasis?

Not really, she can safely have the vaccine..
Only response seen in very few patients of psoriasis is little aggrevating in the disease, so keep using topical steroids plus regular moisturizer.

No study yet to show that vaccine aggravates psoriasis. Get the vaccine .

Asalamwalaikum ,she should be vaccinated for covid without any worries but kindly rule out other autoimmune conditions by nearby dermatologist but if she has only psoriasis and not other any autoimmune condition then she should be vaccinated
