Subjective - Patient: 27-year-old male - Chief Complaint: Severe skin flaking - Symptoms: - Flaking on head, face, arms, legs, and slightly on other parts - Onset: June 2022 - Worse in winter; warmth causes itching, exacerbating the condition - Redness beneath flakes when removed - Treatments Tried: Lotions and oils; one beard oil was effective in August but symptoms returned in winter - No previous skin conditions; facial burn in childhood, treated with aloe vera cream - Medications: None currently taken - Allergies: None known - Social History: Daily tobacco use, approximately 10 cigarettes a day - Family History: No major illnesses or skin conditions - Occupational History: Sales job with night shifts for the past 5 years - Review of Systems: No other general health issues reported
