Sir, I have syphilis which was declared when I was donating blood. My VDRL is negative. My question is that' which further test I should have to check to confirm for syphilis?
Please inform how your Syphilis was diagnosed during blood donation and VDRL was negative. If VDRL is negative then its most likely not Syphilis. However in rare case when in the presence of Syphilis VDRL is negative then other tests are performed , TPHA and FTA-ABS
