my fathers was having complications of diabetes so i got his hbA1c test done this is his report .. is this very very bad ? does he need insulin?
HbA1c indicates diabetes control over last 2 to 3 months. guidelines recommend to keep it 7 % . A higher Hba1c is associated with diabetes related complications. over 10 is considered very high HbA1c , that needs to be addressed.
This report shows Diabetes control is poor. I need proper history and complete list of his medications. Kindly book online appointment to discuss all his issues.
