Hey AOA.I'm 22 years old Female and i am diabetic from 9 years when i was 13 years old .am from these 9 years i was using insulin mixtard and Lantus .now my hba1c is 8 .I changed my doctor as i got frequent low blood sugar levels sometime it downs to 53 or 40 So thats why i take too much sugar at that time when using mixtard and lantus .Now my new dr said Use insulin Novorapid and Ryzodeg .He said insulin mixtard is not for this age as my age is 22 .i m so so nervous is Novorapid and Ryzodeg is safe and it is good exchange of mixtard and lantus .

novorapid is rapid insulin taken with meals so it has less chances of low blood sugar. whereas ryzodec is long acting insulin which also doesn't cause low blood sugar levels. you can use it but the is regular blood sugar levels monitoring with proper diet.
yes novorapid and ryzodeg is good choice ..with mixtard more hypos are expected
