Asking for Mother Female 60 , Khanewal
Female of 60 yrs old K/C of IPF and bronchial asthma Having enlarged left lobe of thyroid and derranged TFT's. She is taking Tab neo mercazole 2 TDS Tab herbesser 30 mg 1 OD Current TFT's show euthyroid status.. What would be the management now ?
how is the patient clinically ? was thyroid scan or Trab ab done initially ?
since how long she has been taking neomercazole?
ideally the neomercazole dose should be tapered of gradually depending on her clinical status and also she would require FNAC of the cold nodule mentioned in the ultrasound...
ur current thyroid status is within normal limits ur nmz dose should be adjusted as per ur clinical condition no need of FNA biopsy for further assessment consult online via marham

she is on neomercazole from last 1 yr..2TDS...thyroid scan done showing cold nodule...clinically she is now euthyroid as well as by labs....so to prevent her from going into hypothyroid..how can dosage be adjusted?
