Talk to Endocrinologist on Facial Hair

I have got facial hair from last year due to irregular periods , before this my skin was hair free there were no visible or black hair not even on my upper lips , but now they can be seen clearly on my chin and face , I'm thinking to consult gynaecologist along with this I want to know is electrolysis effective ? Should I consult gynaecologist first to check for hormonal imbalance or electrolysis or any laser works with this ?please guide me for this Thanks in advance
