There can be few reasons of high FSH. Main reasons are: its level fluctuate during the monthly cycles in female. It the blood sample was taken in the middle of cycle the FSH will be high and its normal. There are some diseases which can cause high FSH. For example if your ovaries are not producing a hormone called Estrogen. Other reason could be excess FSH production by a small gland in brain called pituitary. So it really depends on your symptoms, day of your monthly period, your other hormones.
