Asking for Self, Female, 32 years old, Pakistan

I'm a diabetic type 2 patient. It's my 3rd pregnancy. I'm on insulin to keep my sugar in control during pregnancy. My question is that as long as my sugar is within limits, can I eat everything like sweets too? Cuz I have major cravings for different foods. Thanx

Firstly, I want to know your blood sugar levels.
Food cravings indicates that your insulin levels are high and you are probably not eating right. In my practice, I have rarely given Insulin to Type 2 diabetic patients. I need your age, height and weight along with your fasting and random blood sugar values at 10 hours of fasting over and 3 hours after breakfast before asking you to quit Insulin.

Today my fasting level was 101 according to Accuchek.. Then before breakfast I took the given amount of insulin and had breakfast.. 2 hours after which it was 90..
Usually my levels are under 140 after using insulin.. I'm using insulin only during pregnancy.. Otherwise I'm on Glucophage 500 mg thrice a day..
Actually as I'm pregnant with twins, my doc has asked me to use insulin to stay on the safe side and avoid spikes as they can cause complications.. I was on insulin in my second pregnancy too and my daughter is totally fine MA..
Its just that sometimes I crave cookies, pizza or something beef.. So I end up eating it.. I try to stick to normal homemade food but once a week I give in to my cravings.. But I use proper insulin before eating these things and my sugar remains within limit.. So again my question is that as long as its in limit, its okay if I eat these things?

You can take sweets off and on in a very little quantity just for taste.... do not take any sweet to fulfil your hunger
