Talk to Endocrinologist on High Sugar
Asking For Mother, Female 65, Lahore
My mother sugar is not in control. currently she is taking insulin mixtard 40 units in morning and 26 units in evening along with neodipar 850 in the morning. but her random sugar readings are ranging from 270 to 375. please advise if we can add amrly 1 or 2 mg in replacement of neodipar for better control. regards

I will not recommend adding Amaryl. She needs review of her labs and see her in person for examination, and to , rewrite her appropriate treatment, for better blood glucose control.

there is no role of amaryl if one is taking insulin. all you need is simply the dose adjustment of insulin. Neodipar helps in the action of insulin so continue it. Consult a diabetologist for dose adjustment or simply book by marham for online appointment. thanks
