Asking for Mother Female 65 , Multan
need opinion from endocrinologist.
my mother is K/C of HTN and IPF for last 4 yrs. She is taking pirfenidone ,montelukast,venticort forte, Deltacortil, and nebulization.
She was hyperthyroid and for it she was on neomercazole 2 TDS and herbesser 60mg. but her recent reports lead towards hypothyroidism. I consulted General Surgeon. he said continue Neomercazole 1 TDS plus thyroxine 1 OD.. kindly guide..is this regimen right ?

No this is not right to start thyroxine, you need to decrease neomarcazole dose and consult a nearby endocrinologist for proper treatment

here recent TSH is less than 0.005 indicating hyper thyroidism again.
