Asking for Self, Male, 36 years old, ISLAMABAD
I have faced hyperthyroidism twice. This time, I have been taking medication for the past 10 months: Newmarcazol (1 tablet daily) and Inderal 10 mg (1 dose daily). With this treatment, my T3, T4, and TSH levels are now all within the normal range. However, Nori Hospital Islamabad has recommended that I undergo I-131 (radioactive iodine) treatment, which would likely lead to hypothyroidism. I do not want this outcome. Is there any other way to avoid this treatment?
If your disease has relapsed twice after full treatment then Radioiodine treatment is recommended
Dr Mansoor Adil have given right advice. Fully agreed.

2. Continue Neomercazole till you further decide.
