Asking for Husband, Male, 29 years old, Thyroid
Hello. My husband got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism which was autoimmune disease in 2021. His thyroid gland got removed through radioactive iodine therapy. Now its been more than a year and we adjust his dose slighly after every 3 months to keep tsh in range. Can anyone please guide me how to figure out the right dose of thyroxin to keep tsh in range? Age is 29, male, weight is 75

Needs Endocrinology consultation.
Basically TSh Hormone Level is not adjusted. What we need is to adjust Free T3 Level, Total T3 Level after Thyroid Gland surgical intervention.. if Thyroxine Hormones Level are in Normal Range then patient will be Clinically normal.

Till the time TSH and Free T4 are within normal range, you need to do them every 6 to 8 weeks. once these readings are in normal range for Two time in same dose then switch to 6 monthly monitoring. need to be regular with treatment. Compliance to medicines and empty stomach is important.
Post RAI condition can be aid by homeopathic treatment as well. Absence of thyroid hormones can affect body metabolism and cause many changes including weight, mood, temperature regulation, etc. If needed plz have an appointment for more guide lines. Thanks
