Talk to Endocrinologist on Hypothyroidism
Asking for Self, Female, 29 years old, Lahore
Aoa, I am patient of hypothyroidism. I was taking thyroxine 50 mcg daily, now it was under control but I couldn't get the dose readjusted. I started skipping the medication for a day or has caused me breathlessness. I am having sleep issues too. Can you please guide me what should I do and How much medication should I take?

Have you done your Thyroid Function Tests lately? If not then get your TSH & FT4 done. Meanwhile continue the same dose of thyroxine.
Send me your reports. I will adjust the dose accordingly. Moreover, i need to know your weight too.

Hi there. Feels like you might hypo again as you had been skipping medicine and gaining weight now. Better repeat your TSH, FreeT4 and FreeT3. Then things would be more clear.
