Assalamo alaekum doctor. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism three years back when i had menstrual irregulaities. i have been having thyroxine once a day daily orslim once a day along with glucophage 850mg thrice a day which this january got changed to twice a day. I have lost about 25 kilos in these 3 years and now i weigh 55 kg my age is 21 and i am unmarried. my periods didnt come for 3 months recently but when it started it hasnt stopped yet its day 16 of me bleading. after 5 days flow was minimal but then after 12 day flow has increased. please tell me any medicine so my periods stop also i am tired of taking glucophage daily and orslim. Can i now stop taking glucophage and orslim? i exercise 5 times a week.

Doctor my bmi is 22.9. When doc started my treatment he only asked for tsh and insulin test. i wasnt ever asked for Hba1c. my fasting glucose was done during treatment it was normal. i am currently in 3rd year mbbs myself i have always tried to leave glucophage and orslim but according to my doctor i have to stick with it even though i am having so much hair loss
