Talk to Endocrinologist on Medicine Timing

Asking for Self, Female, 25 years old, GERMANY

I have recently been diagnosed hypothyroidism with my GP. She suspects hashimoto's but has referred me to endocrinologist. Prescribed Thyroxine 25 mg half tablet every morning before breakfast for a week then 1 tablet. Sometimes I have night shift. I sleep around 4-5 in the morning and wake up around 2 pm. Can I fix the medicine time at 9 am regardless of breakfast time? Can I take medicine at 9 am, sleep again and have food at 2 pm? Thanks

Main issue is you have to take the medicine empty stomach atleast 1-2 hours away from food. Take consistently in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30 to 60 minutes before food. Alternatively, take at night 3 to 4 hours after the last meal. Do not take within 4 hours of calcium- or iron-containing products. If need any further advice kindly book through marham.
