Assalam o Alaikum! Mujhe ye puchna tha k mere husband ko neend main achanak se seizures houte hain jo k ek baar 3 mins se zyada tak chala. Abhi kal h unko ek seizure aya tha jub wo neend se jaag chuke thy. He is taking medicines depakon, vetrawin and frisium. Unhen ajkal neend b kam arahi hai, MRI and CT scan b clear tha Alhamdulilah lekin phr ye kya masla hai? Kya ye epilepsy hai? Or achanak q hougayi? Unhen bachpan m aesa kuch nahi tha. Or kya gastrointestinal issues b seizure ko trigger krsakte hain?? Please help

Kya ye neurological issue nahi hai? Coz he has lost his father two years ago and after six months post death he started having seizures

Your husband is taking anti epileptic medication depakon and vetrawin. From your story it looks like his epilepsy is getting out of control. Sleep is a vulnerable period and most fits get worse during sleep. Fits do not show in scans but a test called EEG may be done. However history is suggestive of fits. It is not clear why you did not know about your husband and his epilepsy but commonly families conceal such facts during and after negotiations for marriage .
