Asking For Father, Male 70, karachi
my father is 70 years old in past he has done radioactive iodine thearpy due to his disturbed thyroid.He was on 50mcg thyroxine for many years and stable but after his psychotic episode he is on his antidepressants and antipsychotic for a year now.His thyroid level fluctuated again 5 months back and he is on 75mcg thyroxine now his thyroid level is normal for a month now but still he is bedridden lacking in energy diffuculty standing up from bed i mean he has to strruggle a lot to get up from bed he can walk for few minutes as he lacks energy physically he is not weak if he has to ride in an autorickshaw he is unable to ride on it just a car he can use due to height of rickshaw such difficulty he faced in past when his thyroid was abnormal but its been month now that his thyroid report was normal what might be reason? also has depression anxiety but his treatment is ongoing.

if thyroid blood test ok then he may some other cause . Thyroid is not the cause then.It could depression or side effects of antidepressants or antipsycotics. Or some other illness
