> Assalamualaikum Doctor, I'm 20th week pregnant And my doctor is not available and no contact I'm so worried and I need your opinion on my recent thyroid test and current medication. My latest thyroid test results are: T4 = 3.04 (normal 12–22) T3 = 3.05 (normal 3.1–6.8) TSH = 5.26 (normal 0.27–4.20) Based on these values, it looks like I have hypothyroidism, not hyperthyroidism. But I have been taking Neo-Mercazole 5 mg with this dose: 3 tablets × 3 times daily for 3 days 2 tablets × 3 times daily for next 3 days Then 1 morning, 2 evening, 1 night for the rest of the month I’m now away from my previous doctor and cannot reach them. Please advise: 1. Should I stop Neo-Mercazole? 2. Do I need to start thyroid hormone replacement? I’m very concerned and need safe guidance as soon as possible. Thank you.
