Different labs have different cut off values. Always choose a good lab for your tests e.g. The Aga Khan Hospital Lab or Shaukat Khanum hospital lab. If these are not available in your city then you can also opt for Chughtai lab or IDC lab.
For proper interpretation of lab reports, your full medical history and physical examination are also important.
TPO value of 21 is borderline and should be repeated after 3 months.
If there are symptoms of hypothyroidism and deranged Thyroid function tests (TSH, FT4) then Thyroid replacement therapy is required irrespective of TPO antibodies.
