Tsh And Prolactin Level

Question

Last year I got my tsh tested it was near 7.5.i took theragram medicine for one month. Now I got it again tested in April it was OK but prolactin was first in 70 than in 50.i haven't got prolactin checked yet. But my tsh is 6.5. I have gained weight. My height is 5.4 and weight is 59 almost. I have the symptoms of hypothyroidism plus I m trying to conceive as well. What am I supposed to do now.

Aoa. I will advise you to go for following tests and then consult. T4. TPO antibodies. This will decide nature of disease as well as management plan
TSH is lesss than 2.5 then can check prolactin

Hi. Thanks for your query. Theragran is a medicine with vitamins. You need to check TSH FT4 FT3 that will give a better picture. Prolactin May be high as TSH is high. What symptoms do u have please describe. Thanks

I have gained weight. My skin in pale and dry. Fatigue, no proper sleep. Dry hair feeling tired all the time. I am 59 kgs right now. I am trying to conceive as well.
