I have a type 1 diabetic and use an insulin pump. I am trying to lose 25 pounds and have been unsuccessful with diet and exercise alone. I continue to read that GLP 1 are not approved for type ones due to the risk of hypoglycemia, but is there any new research that shows that they can be used safely?
