In winter my baby got allergic rhinitis,Flu,Cold ,Fever we greate here from ENT Drs,Now he cannot speak and listen and I'm worried what to do in this situation ,I went to a local ENT Dr he said he has hearing loss problem and suggested me for hearing aid or operate ,Then I went to a ENT specialist in Multan he recommend 2 antibiotic syrup And suggest a X Ray of nose and said came 1 week later and ll suggest for hearing aid or other treatment

For a 2.5 years child suspected of hearing loss and speech problems after an attack of cold & flu we need some investigations to finally reach the diagnosis.
Please get your ASSR (or ABR if ASSR is not available) and Tympanogram tests and let me know about the results I will guide you about further management.

Because 1st time in my family my Son got this problem and I don't know about this disease
And Going Dr To Dr but my Son is not recovering
I'm So much worried about him
I read the ABR reports which are suggestive of nerve deafness and if this is from winters then already 7 months have been passed. Better get his ASSR done to confirm if you can come to Rawalpindi.
Hearing aid ot cochlear implant may be required.
You need to see good audiologist and ent Specialist. BERA test important ?
