I'm 25 and lately my general doctor strongly recommended considering going for operation to remove my tonsils before it gets chronic. Please advise me where to go? The best facility and doctor to consult? I heared that it's not a good idea when you get older? What are the risks? I would like to end my suffering, like the constant often infection my tonsils get, fever, joint pain. However, I would like to know the risks and after surgery changes or consequences.

w salam. 25 years age is not upper limit. Tonsillectomy can be done from 5 years to 65 years. There are no risk for surgery. I do it in routine with latest equipment with no can visit me at Doctors clinic near kali tanki stop Saidpur road Rawalpindi.
it's important to get a consultation with an ENT to actually assess whether u actually need surgery or not.
