I have recurrent respiratory papillomatosis. Due to this I have voice horness (low voice).
I wanna ask, is this cureable?
My Doctor who dignosed this told me that it is not cureable..

there are trials of some anti viral drugs like Cidofovir and also interferons but permanent cure is not available at the moment may be in near future . at the moment

Well, it is curable but u will have to undergo a series of LASER ablation because it recurs again and again and finally goes away, so a lot of patience is required. Be courageous and don't give up. Finally u will win!

It is recurrent. Different patients have different responses. But most of the time patients tend to undergo series of surgical excision with laser or microdebrider and concurrent antiviral therapy. A few cases have reported long disease free interval
