Talk to Eye Specialist on Can Topical Minoxidil Eye Contact Cause Blindness Or Glaucomas?

Please tag an ophthalmologist. I am using topical minoxidil 5% for hair regrowth. I am concerned if this drug might cause any eye problems to me like blindness, or glaucoma etc if it gets into my eyes or if i use it for long term. please help
long term use of minoxidil can effect your eyes.for this you should regularly check your eyesight by visiting hospital.although it does not not cause glaucoma but can effect optic disc thus can impair your vision.
therefore you must keep visiting any eye physician and discontinue minoxidil if it is impairing your vision
