Asking for Self, Male, 22 years old, Lahore

AoA,Hope You are Doing Great and find my message. I'm 22 years old, and I noticed that size of my right eye look smaller than left eye. This wasn't an issue before, but over time, it has become more noticeable, and it feels uncomfortable, especially when interacting with others in public. My vision is normal in both eyes. Could you help me understand what might be causing this and if it's something that can be treated or corrected?

One eye looking smaller than fellow eye can be due to ptosis (droopy lid).
Need to see picture of eyes a closer view and then can guide further.
Any variation in this and also duration is important, does it look smaller all time or only at specific time of day.

Wa Alaikum Assalam! It's essential to evaluate the asymmetry of the eyelids properly. Here are some investigations you may consider ordering for your patient:

### Investigations to Consider:
- **Comprehensive Eye Examination**
- Visual acuity assessment
- Pupil reaction tests
- Extraocular muscle movement evaluation
- **Slit Lamp Examination**
- To assess the anterior segment of the eye and eyelid structures
- **Fundoscopy**
- To ensure there are no underlying retinal or optic nerve issues
- **Photographic Assessment**
- Compare both eyes for size and shape visually
- **Orbital Imaging**
- **MRI or CT scan of the orbit**
- To rule out any structural abnormalities or masses
- **Thyroid Function Tests**
- Assess for hyperthyroidism or Graves’ disease, which can cause eyelid retraction
- **Blood Tests**
- Complete Blood Count (CBC) to rule out infections or inflammation
- Autoimmune markers if indicated (e.g., ANA, ESR) for inflammatory conditions

### Additional Considerations:
- **Consultation with an Ophthalmologist or Oculoplastic Surgeon**
- For specialized evaluation and potential surgical options if necessary
