My right eye is being constantly teary. The tear saves up in the corner and due to constant wiping, the whole area is becoming dry and itchy. I have used eye drops but they haven't done me any good. This happens every few days. It becomes fine on its own and then this happens all of a sudden.

As its only one eye so chances are its due to tear duct issue. First try Maxitral eye drops one drop twice a day for 02 wks with ocular message after using drops ( pressing with finger from medial side of nose near eye downwards to help in flowing tears to your nose.If still persist then after check up mild procedure by any eye spec near you called Probing and Sac Syringing might help.
use FML eye drops and do sac massage... for 2 weeks...
