Endoscopy CROSS DESCRPTION
The specimen is recived in formalin coded as’D2’ and antrum” It consists of three grey white tissue pieces measuring 0.5x0.3 in submitted in single cassette (SUM). MICROSCOPIC DESCRITION: Microscopic examination was performed. DDIAGNOSIS:D2 and atrum: Fragments of specialized gastric mucosa with mild chronic focally active gastritis with Helicobacter dysplasia noted. A fragment of duodenal mucosa showing intact villous architecture and mild interaepithelial Lymphocytosis. Lamina propria shows moderate Lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate with scattered eosinophils,neutrephils. Giardia are for malignancy.
