Aoa i want to ask is colofac safe to take during pregnancy? And entrogermania ampule twice a day ? Its my fifth month starting, m uc patient and taking pentasa 2000 mg a day but i flared up in 3 rd month. Still trying to cope with it but not in remission. Please suggest safety of colofac tab and ampule?

Good evening .Colofac or pentasa are safe in pregnancy.I suggest to increase the dose 4 gram per day.Take Mesalazine enema .Also take folic acid.If problem doesn’t solve check stools for clostridium difficile toxin A&B .If UC problem still persists you can take short course of prednisolone.I strongly advise to have a close follow up with a dedicated gastroenterologist for IBD.Thanks

Thank you so much. I will start using enama 4g/100ml and Pentasa 500 mg ( 4 tabs daily). Colofac twice. Using entrogermania 4b twice. Hopefully this all will help to get remission. How many days i shoukd use anemas
