my mother has anus bleeding since two months and doctors suggest colonscopy . is colonscopy a treatment of disease and it includes operation or not . is it just a test. how much this disease is dangerous . my mother has to go washroom again and again and there is nothing but just a bleeding with motion . please suggest me any treatment . i am too much anxious

Colonoscopy is a test to see intestine from inside and look for the cause that is causing bleeding. we can't suggests treatment unless we know diagnosis. Bleeding can be due anything piles, fissure, polyp, colon cancer so first colonoscopy have to be done.

We have done with colonscopy and their is nothing but swelling . But doctors still have sent sample in laboratory for satisfaction . Doctor write down prescription. We are taking medicine although my mother is feeling better but bleeding is not stopped yet. Doctor has given solomed injection,deltacortril tab,mesacol and esso.

bleeding wouldn't stop by colonoscopy but we will get the clue about the disease. the treatment duration depands on the diagnosis dear.

Its better to get colonoscopy done as soon as possible so if there is tumor God forbid the treatment starts early.
