Talk to Gastroenterologist on Chronic Diarrhea
Asking for Self, Male, 31 years old, Dubai
I am having diarrhea since 6 month. no abdominal pain, no blood in stool and all my serum & stool tests are negative. my doctor in Dubai further recommended for endoscopy.
please guide me asap.
What is the frequency,consistency of relation with meals?

I want some advice regarding my has diarrhea since 1 month.
She was given Monural sachet (fosfomycin) for UTI by a physician 1 month ago. After few hours of Taking satche she developed loose stools, (grade 3), frequency is variable(2 to 9 per day) , without blood or mucous, associated with incontinence.
She has completed 7 days course of Novidat and Flagyl, and 7 enflor satchet but no improvement
She was diagnosed to have diabetes 1.5 month ago, at the time of diagnosis her HbA1c was 13.9 and fasting bsr of 394. now is she is taking medicine, fasting bsr ranges from 120 to 140, other levels are normal
For diabetes she Is taking

If there is no bleeding and s/s of malabsorption and fever,some functional element should be kept in mind and in such cases endoscopy and biopsy should be avoided

Frequency of stool 3 to 4 times in average per day, no relation with food, no bleeding, no pain and no fever at all Alhamdulillah.
All my blood/stool reports are negative except ASCA Iga is positive (value 299.1). As said earlier Dr. here in Dubai Hospital recommended colonoscopy, for that actually I am not interested.
Sir, please advise me how to proceed further.
